Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be populating this page with everything you need to be ready on Monday, June 16, the first day of our virtual camp.

STEP 1:
Set up your CAMP NOTEBOOK & READING TOOLKITS
NOTEBOOKS will contain: Weekly schedules, checklists, activities.
READING “TOOLKITS” will contain: Everything that can help you get more out of your reading life, like tracking & journal pages, guides, and more. You can put this in your camp notebook, or keep it separate.
Some of you may prefer to keep a digital notebook. That’s great, too! The important thing is to have a place to get and stay organized and make it your own.
***I created a few printable PDFs that are linked on this page and might help you get started. Use what you like, leave the rest. Get creative! ***
(P.S. If you’re crafty and want to, I hope you’ll share pictures of your notebooks after camp starts!)
STEP 2:
START EXPLORING THE CAMP BOOKLIST
There is no right way to do this. Some of you may jump in and start reading from the list, some might just look through the links and other information I’ve provided below, some might wait to look until later. You should do whatever YOU want to do.
THE BOOKS:
I’ve selected 15 BOOKS as candidates in our Book Elections and for use in camp discussions and activities. BUT!
There is NO requirement to read everything, or even anything. (Though I do hope you find something here that you enjoy!)
Our camp is about having fun reading and socializing through books. It’s NOT about required reading. Everyone will read differently!
STEP 3
If you have questions, ASK AWAY! And if you have friends who might like to join, you can pass along the camp flyer. The more the merrier!
